"ALL TROOP" NEWS WORTH SHARING!
LOOK WHAT WE DID!

HELD A CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL!
The Juniors and Cadettes sponsored a Christmas Carnival for all the younger scouts and families.  The theme was ROCKIN AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE.  Karoke The Kristmas Klown DJ'ed the event.  They played games, had a cake walk, made crafts and even had a special visit from you know who!  There was even a Santa's Special Mail box where kids could write letter and leave them for Santa.

They also held a community service night during the party and collected canned goods, gifts and money donations for our Adopted Families.  A mitten tree was set up and we collected mittens, gloves and hats for needy kids.

Chili and finger foods were served and gifts were exchanged.  Over all I think this was the BEST Christmas Party we have ever had!

FAVORITE CELEB ~ ROLE MODEL
Favorite Celeb & WHY you think they make a good role model for young girls:

Patti: I can't think of any Celebs that I think would make a good role model so I picked my Teacher, Mr Henderson.  He is a good role model for all his students (both boys and girls) because he is a good teacher and he keeps on us and teaches us to be the best we can be.

Corrie: "I don't have a favorite Celeb because there aren't very many that are good role models that don't wear skanky clothes or don't do drugs.  So my favorite Role Model is my Girl Scout Leader because you can talk to her when ever you need help.  She always shows us a good time".

Brittany: Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen because they are pretty and have good hygiene.  They are young, rich and successful.

Brandi: My Fav celeb is Eminem.  Because I like his music but I don't think he's a good role model I just like his music.
