Below you will find Ideas & Plans for January 2004 to September 2004

2003 - 2004 CADETTE & GROUP LONG RANGE CALEDAR

This is your Long Range Calendar for the 2004 Troop year. The copy you received is to be kept in your folder or Girl Scout binder and should be brought to every girl scout meeting with your folders and Handbooks. It is a plan of what we will TRY to do every month during this troop year. All Patches/Badges, Activites, Ceremonies listed may or may NOT be earned. Depending on the activities each Troop/Group and or Patrol chooses to do more Patches/ Badges may also be added to these lists. All patches listed in the left column are Cadette & Senior IPP's. All Badges on the right are Junior Badges.

In this Long Range Calendar you will find a list of Troop/Group Members and also a list of the Patrols. Please note: I made some changes to the Patrol Lists. I've decided it would work best if the Junior patrols were broke into TOWNS. The Cadette Troop is to small at this time to have more than one Patrol. As we add new girls all Patrols may be subject to changes. More Adult Advisors will also be added as I collect Adult membership forms.

At this time some of the Patrols have more activities and Patches/Badges listed than others because not everyone got their calendars completed or turned in to me on time. IF your patrol had the idea to do a patch such as camping or hiking it will be done as a group BUT your Patrol will be in charge of planning the event along with our event coordinator. Each Patrol will take a turn planning at least one special event for the whole group.

I have left enough space in all the month (on MY calendar) for additional patches and activities to be added. Each Girl should try to fill in activities on their calendar for each Troop and or Patrol, PLEASE fill let me know ASAP what your plans are so that I can add them to my calendar.

You'll need to decide how long each Patrol Leader shall remain the Patrol Leader, when and how to switch. As soon as Patrol Cords are purchased each patrol leader will be expected to wear her uniform with the cord on her sleeve to each meeting (and preferable to school also). All changes in Patrol Leaders should be reported to your Troop/Group President and Secretary. The Secretary will be responsible for submitting a secretary report to the News Letter each month. Change in Patrol Leaders will need to be included in that report.

I hope you all have FUN and enjoy your Adventures! If you have any questions or need anything at all just give em a holler! That's what I am here for!!!

GOOD LUCK!  With Love ~ Jamie
