  • 1.) Find out (You teach Brownies) About Junior Girl Scouting
  • 2.) Do a JUNIOR Girl Scout Activity
  • 3.) Do something with a JUNIOR Girl Scout or a JR Troop/Group

  • 5.) Plan and do a summer Girl Scout activity
  • 6.) Help plan your fly-up ceremony

  • THREE STRIKES & YOU'RE OUT!

THE TROOPS ARE NOW YOURS!

  • NOW that the election is over and the officer duties & contracts have been passed out. It will be up to you to take care of the troops! As of NOW IF YOU DON'T DO IT - IT WON'T GET DONE!
  • * NOTE ~ STARTING back on DECEMBER 7, 2000 - We started our THREE STIKES AND YOUR OUT Policy!*
  • On December 7, 2000 our Troops began a THREE STIKES AND YOUR OUT policy. What this means is that everyone MUST follow all of the rules of the Troops and comply by your Officer Contracts. Each time you break a Girl Scout Rule - You fail to comply by your officer duty contract &/OR you do NOT show up to a meeting without notice you will be absent you will get one strike against you. THREE STRIKES AND YOU"RE OUT OF OFFICE! (Not Girl Scouts - you will just be removed from your office)
  • IF you know you will not be able to attend a meeting (and it MUST be a good legit reason-talking on the phone-visiting friends-boy friend coming over-I din't feel like it-I FORGOT- Do NOT Count!!!!!!!!!)
  • YOU MUST do the following:
  • 1.) Let your Troop President, Secretary OR one of the Leaders know.
  • 2.) Give your officer folder to the next in line or appoint someone to take your place at the meeting.
  • 3.) Get ahold of someone in the Troop or Jamie so they can fill you in on what you missed.
  • 4.) Check with your Troop Secretary/Recorder to see if she has any notes, Letters or info for you, that you may have missed out on.
  • 5.) Stay IN TOUCH! We CAN NOT run these Troops without TOTAL Girl Support!
  • 6.) RETURN SIGNED OFFICER CONTRACTS ASAP ~ Any Officers not returning signed contracts by our next meeting will receive their first strike!
  • Each month - any girl that does NOT get a strike will receive $5,000.00 in Bonus Money for the Auction. If I know for sure more older girls will start participating I will get bigger and better things for the Auctions OR the Troop Treasurers can start buying the Auction items and you can have your own auction! It's your Troop so It's your call!

ALL TROOP PLANS MUST BE MADE BY YOU!

  • You now have an office/committee called "EVENT COORDINATOR" ALL Parties, Fun Patches, Field Trips, Patch Activities and Events will be planned and held by this committee along with troop Presidents. HEAD Committee Coordinator will be in charge of all plans and filling in the Leaders on those plans. If she does NOT plan it - You do NOT do it!

Hey I'm Tamika!  I am 10 years old.  I just finished third grade and I'm going to fourth.  I like to do Math.  I am a Junior now in Group Troop #5158.  I have been a girl scout for four or five years.  In Girl Scouts we have fun.  We learn a lot of neat stuff in Girl Scouts.  I have a BIG family.  I've got a Dad, a Mom, 2 sisters and two brothers.  I've had two Dalmations in my life, Buddy and Butterfly and two cats, Princess and Dozer.  (May 2002)

Whatsup I'm Whitney !  I'm 10 years old and I'm in 5th grade. I love Science coz we do expiriments.  I'm starting my last year as a Junior Girl Scout and I want to be the first Junior in my school to earn the Bronze Award.  I was a Daisy Girl Scout for 1 year and a Brownie for 1 year.  This is my second year as a Junior Girl Scout.  I like being a Junior and working on my Leadership and helping with the Brownies.  I Love my Girl Scout Leader, Jamie.  I've got one mom, Wendy.  One Dad, Tim and four Brother's, Aaron, Andrew, Daymeon, and Andy.  But I have NO sisters except for the Girl Scouts!  I have a Yorkie named Cloe. (September 2002)
